![]() They should then go back up the tunnels and to 2242' East, 120' Surface, where they will drink the Gravitation Potion. Here players will find a series of tunnels, and they should follow them down to 2999' East, 266' Underground to locate a Chest with a Gravitation Potion. Will be adding more as I come up with them. For the Starfury, the first step in is to head to 3088' East, enter the hole, and start digging. Rename ice boomerang to frostyrang, and use cryorang for the hardmode oneįlamarang/Moltenrang should now have a fiery particle effect trail when thrown They disappear once another boomerang is used. Edit: considering this basically doubles dps, it would likely be late hardmode Bionic Arm: Allows you to throw rangs twice as fast, and with more velocity? A potential alternative better implementation of the license above (credit to Gravital Core: Boomerangs orbit the player upon returning instead of disappearing, dealing damage to enemies as normal. I'm not sure when in progression this would be available. Other/accessories : Boomerang License: sold by the traveling merchant and throws double the amount of rangs every time one is used (so 2 in most cases, but would work with the dualarang resulting in 4). Lunarang: a four-sided (like lunar hook) endgame boomerang that can be thrown up to four times in succession similar to the trimarang. This could be early hardmode too, crafted with unicorn horns/pixie dust? Cosmorang: A celestial pillar tier upgrade to the infirang that can now throw up to 10 rangs a second. Crafted with chlorophyte/ectoplasm(?) The explosion sprite would be shaped like a skull Fractalrang: Dropped by the empress of light(?) and has a rainbow trail when thrown. Doomerang: A late hardmode upgrade to the kaboomerang that deals much higher damage and knockback. Dropped by vampires in the solar eclipse. Dropped by plantera? Batarang: Travels fast and inflicts bleed/maybe lifesteal? Unofficial upgrade to the stabarang. Wasparang: A hardmode upgrade to the Stingarang that releases wasps instead. ![]() Also travels through blocks and illuminates them dimly. X-Rang: A mid hardmode upgrade to the soularang. Crafted with unicorn horns/hallow items? Magnerang: pulls items and coins towards itself and subsequently to the player. Infirang: A early hardmode upgrade to the manarang that can now throw up to 7 rangs a second. Crafted using either cursed flames or ichor and deals AoE damage in a small fiery explosion on impact similar to the inferno fork (but instant). Either late-prehardmode or early hardmode? Hardmode: Zaparang: dropped by angry nimbus and has an electric trail, more damage in rain? Frostyrang/Cryorang: An early hardmode upgrade to the ice boomerang crafted with ice cores, would slow enemies? Blazarang/Moltenrang: An early hardmode upgrade to the Flamarang. Crafted with explosive powder/explosives and an enchanted boomerang? Manarang/Multirang: a magic boomerang that autofires up to 4 rangs a second at 6 mana each? Perhaps crafted with demonite bars? Zoomerang: basically a high velocity boomerang that travels to the edge of the screen (or until it pierces up to 5 enemies) almost instantly, but then returns at normal speed. Also found in dungeon chests Kaboomerang: has a slow rate of fire but explodes on impact dealing minor knockback. ![]() Found in dungeon chests Blazing Chakram: Attaches to the first block it impacts and rolls along the ground with infinite pierce. Perhaps a blood moon drop? Soularang: pierces enemies and travels through blocks but does not emit light. Deadlyrang: seeks out targets similar to the possessed hatchet. Aquarang: increased velocity and damage underwater, either dropped by sharks or crafted with shark fins. Halloween exclusive Buzzarang/Stingarang: obtained from the Honeycomb/Hive Crate and releases bees on impact. Could have better stats to be mid pre-hardmode? Stabarang: inflicts bleed debuff. Dualarang: basically two boomerangs at once that can hit enemies independently or deal double DPS to a single target (relative to normal boomerangs). Prehardmode : Ore Boomerangs: Perhaps only gold and platinum so as to be early game upgrades to the wooden one, but could extend to the other ores as well. There are currently only 7 real boomerangs in the game, so I had a few ideas for potential new ones.
